The 18-hole “Ponderosa” course at the Ponderosa Country Club in Batesburg-Leesville, SC features 6,820 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.1, and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ed Riccoboni, the Ponderosa Golf Course opened in 1965. The challenging layout provides scenic views of rural Lexington and Saluda counties. In 2002, the Ponderosa completed a total renovation of all 18 holes including greens, fairways, tee boxes and golf cart paths making the Ponderosa Country Club a true hidden gem of the Midlands. Vendor (Business) Tent Sponsors - Businesses are invited to purchase a tent sponsorship to set up a tent at a golf hole for the SOLE purpose of advertising their business. ABSOLUTELY NO SOLICITATION or SELLING OF MERCHANDISE will be ALLOWED for any reason. This is a Fund Raiser in support of the Lexington County Choral Society, and funds are to support their service mission for our community.
